This book is one of my favourites. It’s about two girls named Clementine and Fan. They’re cousins. Clementine comes to visit three times. But those three times change both of their lives forever.
Fan is lively, beautiful, clever. She dreams of the Blue Mountains and going to live there one day.
Clementine is sensible and by-the-book. But she loves her cousin. She longs to visit her again.
I recommend this book to anyone who believes that there is something magical about some friendships. The end of the book is really sad, but it’s as if it just fits into the novel. It makes you remember it as something special and unique.
